Ha. Next one will be an Auto as well. Was much more enjoyable to have around than the 6 speed I had before it. Traffic around here is annoying in the Z and a manual, to me. To each their own. It will however likely have an HR since the later Grand Touring models have an extra creature comfort or two that I could use, ie Factory Bluetooth. Spoiled I guess. Just wish I could find a way to get a hood with no bump in it. Dang HR. Lol.

I want a loud 6MT vehicle since I suck at driving stick and end up way over-revving it from a stop so I don't stall lol.

You'll be fine as you drive it more and practice not over revving.

Picked up the new car last night. After warm up and driving on fwy at first stop, 10-20 miles I'd guess, noticed some weird things. Need to contact seller, dealer, again to ask since when I asked last night he mentioned a few things that raised some flags when I called him.

Picked up in Cleveland, 08 Grand Touring Auto, 72k miles. Drove it to SE MI, roughly 200 miles or so, for a trip to take care of some family issues and responsibilities.

This car has me worried already. Not a good sign. Hope I didn't get taken.

Oil pressure seems very low. He said it was normal and no worries. As I pulled in to stop and get a coffee, use the restroom, and tape up the front for the rest of the shorter trip I noticed the pressure gauge seemed low. At idle is seemed lower than I remember from my DE. When I am driving it where should these be? I don't think this is a good sign. I called him to ask again about this. He also then mentioned on the phone that oh even if its a oil pump those are only like 80 bucks. Well......... he told me it was taken to Nissan for a once over and it passed with flying colors when I was picking it up. He's a dealer in Cleveland, deals in mostly highline stuff. Oh man.....

It's been 2-3 years but last time I drove a manual I think I finally got to try out that whole let the clutch out to engagement point and let it roll on its own without giving it gas, then once you're moving start to gas it and let the clutch out all the way. Much smoother with none of that herky jerky. It was one of the older M5's too, the E39.

No one ever really taught me to drive manual, just kinda put me in one and let me learn as I go. I remember the first time I drove one I just let the clutch out all the way expecting it to idle forward like an auto.

Right above zero? Normally not even here, touching the line normally.

Either way dealer says there is an issue. Also a noise at idle, like a knocking sound. These two make for a bad combo. We are working out a resolve. He has been nice about everything, whole thing is just very unfortunate.

Also unfortunate is that this is basically the car I have been looking for, for a long time. White GT w/ Brembo and Rays.

Does autozone rent out impact driver sets? Or any locals got a nice set I could borrow?
