Default Question - floor mats

okay, sorry for not knowing this, but what the heck is the difference in the year models of the floor mats........

I have been thinking of buying the Nismo floor mats from courtesy parts since they are on sale right now, but whats the difference in the years...

did the floor of the z change or something? seems odd to me?

my car is an 04.

Default Question - oem strut bar spacers for plenum spacer gap

Okay,

one more, where can i buy the small spacers that raise the oem strut bar when you install a 1/2 plenum spacer??

i know ive seen people just go to homedepot and stack a bunch of washers, but i would rather have the solid thicker washers...

I just want to buy the spacers only, there are 8 total i think right???

Great, so this is who we chose to be one of our new Moderators? Noob.

JK

I think the floor mats are all the same, regardless of year (03-08). If it did change, then it changed with the introduction of the HR engine in 2007.

The spacers can probably be had from Motordyne (purchased separately). I would advise against stacking washers, though. And yes, there are 8. I hope whoever you got the spacer from also gave you plenum bolt spacers (6 long ones for middle of the plenum) along with the longer bolts, which are all included when you buy directly from MD.

I don't see why the floor mat would change, seeing how the seats didn't change, neither did their positions, the inner amenities, pedal locations, etc. A lot of the times, they just have different part numbers, when they're the same part (Nissan chooses though). I've seen this on the Courtesy site also.

Maybe they did change with the new headlights, then.

Yeah, the driver side looks like the mat is longer, extending more toward the driver. The passenger side looks like the mat is longer also, extending more toward the engine. So, all around they've gotten a tad bit longer than before.
