I got a scratch today from a plant (it had needles), and I'm not sure the best way to deal with it. It seems to have gone into the color, but I only saw it in the dark. Is there a good product for covering thin scratches?

In my previous life I worked at a mustang shop. Stock they can go from 190ish rw to 220ish. Don't be fooled by a stock looking and sounding mustang though, they could surprise you. Heads, cams, all kind of parts are so cheap and redilly available who knows what you have.

What's wrong with the California Car Duster? This has been debated millions of times on this forum alone, and a billion times on autopia. Most will agree that it does NOT leave any residue nor scratch anything. Car covers are worse. Can you magically lift up the cover? No, so when you take it off, you're scratching the surface. Can you magically let the cover settle onto the car? No, so when you put it on, you're scratching the surface. Realistically, we have a 350Z, so microscratches won't do a damn thing to lower the value of the car. And if it does develop trillions upon trillions of scratches, then do the right thing and do a proper detail job.
And Mustang 5.0s are pretty fast for what they are. They're pretty light and they can be modded to be very fast.

Is there anywhere near Dallas that sells aftermarket lighting type accessories, such as LED bulbs, HID bulbs, HID kits, etc? I know I can get them on ebay, but I always feel better seeing the thing first, and I hate waiting for stuff to ship.
there is a audio/video/wheel place on the service road of south bound 75 just before belt line, that might have something, never been in there but maybe
I have a buddy in FTW who does retrofitting & what not. He might have some stuff lying around. Anything specifically you want?

Well I wanted to get new DTRL LED bulbs, they are 7440/7443 type, and that led to possibly new HID D2S bulbs in 6000K, and then maybe 6000k fog kit, H8 type bulb.
They aren't 7440/7443 type though. They are 194/164 bulbs I believe.
Car covers are not worst. Quality ones at least. That is why I said it s to be put on RIGHT after you've washed it only. I never said microscratches would lower the vehicles value. It'll just look like **** to see microscratches/swirls. For most people they tend not to care nor notice anyways. And the california car duster. I would not trust that thing wiping dust off. I know its not the same but I barely had someone wipe there finger off the dust of my vehicle. And it marred my paint just cause of that. I know the duster isn't as aggressive but still. I still wouldn't trust it. And if you do develop the tons of trillions of swirls and scratches, it is definitely not the easiest detail job (if you don't do it yourself, 8-12 hours..it'll cost you 200$-350$). Not only that it'll cut down on the clear coat as well.
Damn, Q. If you're looking at your paint and noticing marred paint after somebody touches it with their finger, you're WAY too OCD.
It's just a car, man. But then again, your car's paint does look much nicer when it's been taken care of all its life.

I have a buddy who sells them locally. They are extremely bright & cheaper then online. Give me a PM. We can even meet up to show you what they look like. I changed out my rear license plate bulbs. And my front city lights.

Honestly, I'd rather just use the CCD. It hasn't done anything to my car (although mine doesn't exactly have the best paint) and when I used to use it, it got the job done.

.My prep for the religious car wash routine. Hehe.
Edit: The Megs Gold Class on the left in first pic and the blue towel on the right in second picture aren't what I use.

I feel bad cause I probably over-do it. No wonder the family thinks im crazyy!
