Ya, that's basically it. Once I realized not many people in Dallas have modded FX's, and I bought almost everything from the guy who did, I came here just to look for parts as well as knowledgeable people to talk to. I think I heard someone else say they bought stuff off of here, or looked here for parts, and I guess I just liked it, or at least the lounge. I look around for deals alot, but nothing yet.

Morning

I finally installed my new suspension this weekend, it only took me 6 hours. lol

The Nismo sway bars really messed me up. I had to take both sides of the front apart at the same time and go through step by step on both of them. The rear is extremely easy though, that only took me about an hour to knock out both sides.

I can't drive the car right now, it is way too low. I will take a picture later today before I raise the car some. The front rim is almost in the fender, I tried to drive it and the slightest bump would cause it to rub.

morning all..........

I have one.........who can find me a RED BULL Koozie that has an inner diameter of a typical redbull can, but the outer diameter of a typical cup holder.......

I'm trying to find a Koozie that will hold my redbull can in the Z cup holder with out tipping to one side due to its smaller cylindrical size...

i may have to make one.........

If that doesn't work, I guess you could put that into another koozie and it will fit?

You could get one of these instead.

For both boys and girls.

Your Red Bull lasts long enough to put in a koozie or the cup holder? I always drink mine all at once.

yeah...stock clutch (which i think exedy makes) is garbage and too soft. i did add on a ss clutch line and motul and it helped a lil but i want more firm, etc, etc.

thnx j.

I've got the Spec Super Twin Plate Clutch and lightweight flywheel combo. It's the highest rated clutch setup for the Z (to the best of my knowledge). It was in the car when I bought it. It's overkill for a street car. The previous owner was planning on going high boost drag car and started with the clutch.

You'll probably want to go with something like Jason has. Streetable, yet aggressive enough to satisfy.

The pros of my Spec clutch are such:
- Always grabs and grabs HARD
- Lightweight flywheel makes for very quick revs and good rev-matching
- Pedal isn't outrageous, very confidence inspiring

Cons:
- I don't drive the car enough to get used to starting from a dead stop--it's tricky, but if you drive the car regularly it's fine

Go with something like the JWT or even look at a mid-level ACT setup.

I have the Exedy Stage 1 clutch with stock flywheel in mine. I've launched countless times at over 6K RPM with a bit of slip at the drag strip when racing N/A. I've also launched on nitrous at 5+K RPM with slight slip a good number of times.

Pros:
-very streetable
-no sign of glazing even after all those aggressive launches
-bites pretty well
-got mine for around $290 shipped, I think, a while back

Cons:
-very stiff; will give your left leg/calf a good workout
