sure thing. replaced the motul POS 300v today with some Rotella Tsyn 5w40. that 300v stuff might be great in a race car but not street car. the Rotella makes my engine purr and its proven to be one of the best oils for boosted VQ's.

 

and its never enough... thinking of going with a cosworth plenum, installing my 3" inch down pipes and getting a retune for 16psi soon. argh, wish forged was closer!! on a side, note, asuka type 1 hood or seibon TS 1 hood?

Man I'm with you there. There's a certain CF hood that I want, but would never leave it all carbon. I have my idea of how to paint it, I just can't afford to get it and have it painted right now.

You should paint all but the area behind the vents.

 

I want some performance mods..fujitsubo legalis r ti exhaust (I know I won't be able to afford it i'll just get the stainless one)..motordyne xyz resonated pipe, berks hfc, plenum spacer, some gears and a tune.. and then I need some money for all of it.

 

The titanium version of the Fujitsubo Legalis R is called Super Ti. I used to have this (the 1st gen, they only sell 2nd gen now) exhaust but sold it over a year ago to somebody in Austin. It's an awesome exhaust and the sound is awesome coming from the fully titanium exhaust. God, I miss this exhaust.

I been meaning to ask why you sold it? They're insanely freaking expensive for that super ti version. Also the exhaust is only mid-pipe and back? Not even a full exhaust?

 

Yea, it's a y-pipe back, so only the mid-pipe and the muffler. I needed money at the time to pay off some stuff. In the process, I got a nitrous kit out of it. I sold it for a damn good price too. I want it back.


Man, I was thinking of getting some body parts, seeing how I'm not going to be able to do any more performance stuff on my Z without paying too much. But, guess what happened? I got a ****ing ticket yesterday for going 86mph in a 65 zone. That's ****ing ******** since I was going 81mph. And with my smaller rears (265/40/18), that means I was going less than 81. I got ****ed in the *** sideways. I ****ing hate cops.

 

Your speedometer is off? Damn what city? Over 21mph. I hope you can take DD cause ticket sounds expensive.

 

A **** town called Melissa. This is my second time I got caught in that area (Central Expressway 75). ****ing *******s there, man.

Yeah, because my rears (265/40/18) are a different size than stock (245/45/18), the actual speedometer difference is 1.2%. That means if I was going at 81mph, my actual speed was... rofl, 80mph. Still, I was not going 86mph in traffic. WTF. And I could've sworn that area was 70mph zone, like the rest of the ****ing highway north of McKinney.

I'm pretty sure this'll cost around $250, when everything is paid for (defensive driving, driver's record, and deferred adjudication).



You know what sucks? I was planning on using that money to get a 1TB hard drive and other supporting accessories, a lip/splitter of some kind, or go to a strip club. I can't do any of those things.

 

If you are taking DD, it should cost around 90$ for court fee, and 40$ for defensive driving. It's not bad. You don't do both dd and deferred.

 

I can't do just DD + court fees, since I had received a different citation almost a year ago. That means, I need to do deferred, which usually makes you take the DD anyway.

Either way, I have to spend money on something that gets me nothing. Why the hell do we even have cops anyway? I've never heard of one doing anything remotely ****ing useful, especially not around here.

 

Heh I think you're just upset. Who would you called if you were getting robbed? The cops. Yeah they can suck sometimes but if we didn't have them it would suck. No, I honestly believe that cops around here don't ever do **** - plus nothing major happens around here anyway. Majority of the time, they're found hiding out looking for people catch for minute violations of the law, such as speeding. If I was robbed, I wouldn't bother calling the cops since I know they won't do **** nor care.

Anyway, deferred does make you take DD. The places where I was pulled over or my friends were pulled over always required DD. They don't have to, but I think a lot of places make you anyway - they probably benefit from those retarded 6 hours of ********.

I never done deferred, I have always thought it was either or not both.

The terabyte filled up fast when you download nothing but high def contents. Raw bd movies are about 30-50gigs each already.

I been really wanting the fujitsubo legalis r lately it looks very nice, hardly any change over stock other then a non-rolled tips and it looks a little bigger. I'll have to do the non super ti version since that thing is like a million dollarz. Maybe after vegas I'll save for it.

I switched from 265/50/20 to 275/45/20, but my speedo still reads 5 mph fast. I guess it's because the old tires were bald. However, a side by side shot shows that the old tires were still much taller, unless the weight of the car squishes them.
