alright cool you hadnt replied, and i sent it 16 hours ago, so i was getting a bit worried. anytime after monday probably, depending on how long you think it might take. im probably busy saturday/sunday, and most of monday with Mackie. knocking stuff out over xmas break.

does the front bumper have to be this big of a PITA to remove? honestly?

may i ask what the project is?? the reflectors look good, next comes the black headlights with clear reflectors in there, anybody done theirs locally

 

i'm going to Mackie's on monday, so i washed the FX today to get it ready and im taping up the front so i dont take any accidental damage on the drive up there. im pretty sure im down to the clear coat, since i used Dawn soap to wash it.

 

Do you live 1000 miles away from Mackie that you need to tape up the front? Are you having Mackie detail it for you? I would of just drove it there and had it washed there if he is going to detail it for you.

 

not having it detailed, just polished. i decided to get this done now, rather than wait until the meet to learn how. he lives a couple miles away. only one main road. i'd rather make it easy on him, since it's supposed to be cold, i don't want to make him be out in the cold washing a car.

 

Wait you guys are doing it on Monday? It's suppose to be really cold, either way you guys will have to rinse the car again when you get there. Won't be fun at all on Monday, high 40s low 30s or something like that.

 

eh, i like the cold. maybe we will go in his garage? i assume he has it worked out, i told him about it being cold and he knew so i guess it will be ok.

I don't think anybody on here will ever claim there car. Either that or they don't know the Texas section even exist.
