Okay, im new to DFW, so ive been looking for a spot to take this pic........

Does anyone know a cool location, maybe the top level of a parking garage that gets puddled up, but im looking for the day after a rain where the puddle remains and we can drive the Z's onto the puddle, get out and tip-e-toe to the dry area, wait for the ripples to stop then snap some sweet pics??

I wanna take it with my track wheels/R-comp tires, so ill be taking my trailer and cordless impacts and swapping one side of the cars wheels out on site...

I know i saw a thread where a guy took a pic like that, but i cant seem to find the thread..........

a puddle like the one pictured below, anyone in DFW work downtown know of any cool spots that probably puddle up that we can take a pic like this.........?

northpark has two parking garages with top levels, and i believe that they do get puddles. not sure though if we need alot of rain for it to happen first. i live like a mile from there, so i can go check first though, if you want sometime.

 

ya that would be cool! if you have time.........i have been driving around after work looking for a place like this to take this pic......

it would be cool if we can get a couple of Z's together to take it...

theres a stars hockey stadium in frisco with top levels, i can check that

ok well, im actually gonna go over there now because i want some pics in the fog and i will see how it looks. how about some Z's, and an FX?

It's still foggy outside? I got a headache driving home yesterday.

 

here's what i took. there was a security guard right below me, but he didnt seem to care what i was doing, so long as you keep it low key they dont bother you. i took these from the corner, so this shows the whole upper area.

 

Last night during the early morning, I took some pics out in the fog also. I tried to capture a couple with the puddle reflection that Jason was talking about too.

 

Awesome stu........it looks like that upper level definately has some low spots that will hold big puddles of water! cool, were gonna have to check that after a big rain...

Just make your own Puddle guys....bring lots of beer and eventually you will have to pee.

 

its for a picture J wants to do, a reflection shot, so he needs a large puddle somewhere.

I was watching speed tv a couple of nights ago and they had this vintage car road show in San Antonio they did this shoot on some sort of road that had a little river running over it..

It is hard to explain but it was so bad *** that I thought about doing a road trip down there for the summer just to check it out... but mainly to drink down on the riverwalk

 

ha..ha..i know exactly where in san antonio that road is at!!!
