What size are you looking for? I can check with the maufacturing building I work in and see what they have. They build airplane interiors, so they usually have several sizes of AND extrusion laying around. Not sure about any tee extrusion, but I can ask.

Awesome, yeah im looking for a Tee extrusion - say 1" x 1" Tee to 3" x 3" tee with anywhere from .050 to .125 thick.

The main thing is it cant be too thick, i can cut down the legs as i need..

I need the piece for the "how to" jake and I recently did:
https://my350z.com/forum/engine-driv...voir-swap.html

let me know what you find? I would like a foot of it, but pieces 3 inches long would be all i need to make the mount.

Thanks so much...

Cutting it is better then having it rolled. They won't have to repaint it.

Kristi what wheels is tommy putting on that car?

J,
no luck here. They only have L-angle. They checked around with a few other places that may have it, and nobody does. They could order some, but at $100/ft for a min of 12 feet to get it made, I don't believe you'd be interested in that. I'd suggest just riveting 2 L-angle pieces together. That should hold just as well as a tee extr for what you are using it for. It's not like Jake is going to be pulling 9 g's while drifting.

I almost got t-boned this morning on the way into work by a Honda odyssey - damn old oriental ladies can’t drive... she would have taken out my entire driver side if I didn’t swerve... I got out of my car and started bitching her out, she apologized over and over again and started crying.. I think she thought I was going to go up to her car and beat her *** or something.... but I was so pissed...

ANYWAYS Good Morning DFW

Hey that was my Mom !
She told me that some crazy Blonde girl in a Z bitched her out.

Well it could have been.

Indoor skiing in Grapevine anyone?

I bet it would be super crowded most of the time, unless they price out the middle class people.

lol ya, jake and I only hit about 7 or 8 g's...........

Ya, I mentioned using two L angles in the thread.....but i kinda wanted the oh so clean look.....oh well..

I'm now looking up plastic extrusions online, seeing if i can get a plastic T shipped to me......that would work fine..

I called a few salvage yards, and they all say that they think they have some laying around, but you have to go in person and its hit or miss on what they have.....so i dont even wanna bother driving out to them unless they have what i need.

thanks so much for looking into it...

Your welcome. The clean look would be nice, but it is under the cover, so it's not like it's out there in the open. He probably won't ever look in there again anyway, right Jake?

Better how? You still to weld and coat the seam after cutting or else it will have bare metal.
