I went and said what's up to Jose when he pulled up. I thought about saying hi, but i thought it would be funny to give you guys grief today. I waved to Robert when we drove past each other and he waved back. but when he walked past me 6 times and i waved twice... well, my gf and i just laughed.

My Slide Gate
Sup,
Thought i would share........I had been wanting to do this ever since we bought the house, but finally got around to doing it...If you toggle between the first two pics you can see i love how the gate now hides the view of the garage and our cars from the street........
I'm about 90 percent done as i still have to:
Stain
Spray paint some metal areas
Add a few boards
uproot the little trees i cut down.
secure the track to the concrete - Tapcon screws
Replace the chain on the motor - i used a left over chain from a customers house and its all old and rusted......im doing that today after work.
etc....
The electric/remote controled motor is my own design.....

^ exactly! I am currently working with a sign store to have that general sign made that says:
"warning, automatic gate, owner not responsible, etc"
LMAO - I love the pic of the dude stuck in the gate in the first one!! LOL!!!
but you guys are right, that was my first connection and the chain was slacked out. in that vid it opens 6.5 inches a second, when all buttoned up correctly (chain slack within my designated limits i designed for it) it opens 11 inches a second, so its nearly twice as fast...it can be adjusted..
