There should be a few plugs under your seats. I believe you should have a three. You can try unplug them and plug back on.

Labrador Retriever and no info about dad.

Actually, the airbag problem is common. A lot of us have this issue and it never goes away. Apparently, it's some part that goes bad after you've disconnected your seats (and I've re-connected everything multiple times). Mine's been on ever since I started taking my passenger seat out a few years back to drag race. It hasn't gone away since and I just live with it.
Jay, the dog is cute. I wish I had a dog again. I miss my JRT.
How old is your pup?

A couple of buddies have had issues with them locking up. I keep wd 40 on mine religiously and haven't had any issues. but Im not sure if the issues were from neglect or lack of product integrity.
try a lithium based lubricant.......WD40 isnt meant for outdoors or exposed to outside elements.......it will rust things.....the steel pins, etc in the latches if any??

my wife was getting all sad driving through Oklahoma because they have those billboards with pups on them saying "save me" - advertising from the local shelters......

Im pretty sure the pins are actually aluminum. The wd40 is really to clean the pins and get the **** out of them.

Replaced it with an Interstate battery. I was told they are the best.

I'll try that before taking it to the dealership. Should be covered under warranty.

I haven't really seen a another type that I like as well as the Aerocatch.
Cutting a hole in the hood of that CF hood would make me nervous also. I might have someone install mine too.
Good Morning to All.
Q, I just replaced mine a month ago...just died with out any notice one day.

Thanks Mackie,

Stu,
Lived on the West coast for almost 30 yrs.
.....I know scary.
Hey anybody ever seen these hood latches before ?
I found them on ebay....and they are really cheap....but actually look like they could be good.
I want to get the Aerocatch locking latches but they are like $ 175.00 for the locking CF flush mount ones.
Anyone have some other vendor that is worth looking at ?
