Starting to get chilly now, anything below 60 is when it starts getting chilly for me. Seemed hot in my room earlier.

Does anyone know a reputable shop that knows how to fix 350z's? I seem to have a short somewhere in the car and cant find the problem. If i cant find a shop then i will most likely have to take into the dealership which i am hoping to avoid because i know they charge an arm and leg.

Info on the car- 2003,manual transmission, 120k. Please help if you can. Thanks

Where to start... lol.

I understand that it is cold outside but whenever i turn the car off and exit the car i get a shock. This may not be a problem and it could be due to static so disregard.

Since 4pm today on my way home from work the car started to drive funny(as in lagging or had bad gas, its not a gas problem because i only use 91 octane). I have had this problem once before and it was a ground wire that connects to one of the bolts on the exhaust. So i unbolted and put it back on and drove for a while then the car would start to lag again. It work the first time and this time it didnt.

Maybe the ground wire that connects to the exhaust has gone bad and this could be my problem. Or it could be a few things leading up to one problem.

FYI i do have a check engine light and my 02 sensors in the back are the cause for the light to be on. I do remember seeing other codes showing for wire shorts which i think has to do with the ground wire underneath the car.

I apologize if my write up is confusing but im just having a bad day. Trying to fix my Z but im no mechanic lol.

Oh and i have 125k not 120k. Sorry for the typo

The shock when you get out of the car is a normal issue, at least I think. I have an 07 with 17k miles and mine does the same thing. You might want to replace all the ground wires to the engine. I had to do this to my integra when I had it. I was able to buy the wires and cut them myself for $15, it isn't hard to do at all.

I could by wrong, but the code for the secondary o2 sensor could put the car in limp mode. Actually, I think that I have been around honda's too long at that this information could be wrong. I am sure somebody will set the both of us straight.

Well if your throwing codes from O2 sensors i would definately say replace/fix those, i mean, why trouble shoot when you already know how to fix some of the trouble...

as for the shocking when getting out, i would do the engine ground wires, as i did those and i have never had the problem.. i have a DIY i did myself on that HERE: https://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-...nding-kit.html

woo hoo..... I finally secured the box so I don't have to worry about everything sliding around. I also fixed the remote wire so it doesn't look too ghetto, I know there was a few people at the meet that viewed it.

I did a quick fix so that I could have the bass when i was driving out to Grapevine.

I get shocked all the time, I don't think replacing the engine round wires will help either. I got shocked getting our your car as well Jason. I'm not sure why it seems I carry a lot of static electricity. Damn accidently slept in my contacts now my eyes are irritating, and my glasses I'm wearing are taped back together.
