[DFW]: DFW's Lounge
I didn't finish until 11:00 pm last night....and I was drinking beer the whole time from 5:00 on....so if things are crooked then it's not my fault.

Sorry Jake,
didn't want to make you feel bad.

But I need your help again with my Frt. brake Pads.....are they a bit harder than the rears ?
If I buy you some beer will you come over and show me how to do the fronts ?
We'll be nice and toasty in the garage.
DON'T!!! It's a trap!!!
OK,
So here is a sneek preview of the make-over.
I still need some sides & a rear diffuser , but not too sure which ones I want.
Give your comments good or bad......I don't have any fragile ego....you guys know that.
What was done :
*Basically I removed & sold all the CF on the car.
*Removed rear badges & replaced with Blk Pearl Z emblem only.
*Had the Volks paints Diamond Blk Gloss.
*painted center caps to match.
*Bought the Amuse Shine bumper used and added the Mesh in for grill & side vents.
*OEM hood was going to get Louvered....but I opened it up with areas cut out and then had Mesh grill pushed up flush to the top.
*Everything then went to the paint shop for a nice new Glossy black coat of paint.
Now I just need to get the whole car Buffed and waxed really well, or even clay bar'd for some swirl marks on the fenders.
Thanks to the Eric ( " Wheelfix " on this site ) that works for " Wheel Repair Solutions " in Carrollton ( 972-242-6700 ) They did an awesome job for a reasonable price. Great customer service !
Don Ross ( 214-327-7312 ) in Richardson, that did all the fabrication on the hood.
Also for the paint-- Ron Johnson ( 214-384-2717 ) in Dallas. He was very good and very good on pricing.
Added pics of Z up to this point.

Hummm...Everytime when i see high modifi cars on street, i really do miss FI Z for sure. It's like everyone has pride for their own car and i did have pride for my Z and now it's not in my garage

Yea, EVO is pretty much has everything what i want/need. But only down side is EVO 8/9 time is already done (which means we already saw those car's limit/pros/cons/etc), still awsome vehicle tho. I'm looking to spend only 20k for used vehicle, but if i want to wait couple months more and get a brand new, i will go with New STI for sure.

Will the place that pc's be able to deal with the tires too? I don't have spare wheels to roll on if they can't. It's something I've thought about doing, but then I'd need to get the center caps painted also.
What ! $ 50 bucks
...Wow, thats pretty cheep just for PC'ing. My cost was like $ 130 a wheel....But like I said, they do a great job.
Plus they did a Diamond blk color with metallic in the paint.
Hey Jake, just be careful and make sure these guys seem like professionals.
Stu, the price I paid includes everything...plus they check your rims out to make sure they aren't bent and they keep your car over night and you can pick it up the next day. They are very fast.
Q,
I'm not too sure what sides I want. I don't think I like the Amuse sides.
I like the Greddy sides a lot. I like the side vents on the rear of them.
Got any suggestions ? I really love the rear diffuser that Nexx showed on that Red G-37. Mmmm, loved that !

The woman won the battle eh? hahahaha totally kiddin...looks great and its EXACTLY what you were looking for. now we better see pics of like the grand canyon and stuff..lol..
