BTW, we talked about meeting up at Nexx's restaurant a year or two ago also, but it never happened. Are we actually going to make it happen this time? Some of us are planning on caravaning(?) down there and everybody is welcome to join us.

No Chris that wasn't directed at you. Hell as much as you've offered for people to join you at the track with little to no turnout I'd say it is far from directed at you.

I started to make a meet thread before Stephen, but kudos to him for doing so. I guess I should have though. Do you get good turnouts on weekdays? I guess I'll have to shoot for the next one.

We had... 1..2...3...4... about 10 people show up for the first one, so it was pretty good. I think everyone had a good time and enjoyed themselves as well.

This was on the drive home. All this snow and fog is just east of Amarillo.

This was when we first got to Colorado, had to drive through a little bit of snow and a lot of dirt.

This is when we arrived around 2pm

Went out driving into the country and found this road.

Climbed a stupid hill.

Had to wait for all the cows to past.

We went out shooting in the middle of no where, brought a total of 13 guns.

Fence post that I cut in half with a 30-30

The view from the middle of no where.

again

This is after about 6 inches of snow

Even after raising my car an inch I still can't clear the snow.
Jake, now you know why I wanted to raise it.

I decided that I wanted to go out and play in the snow.

Big mistake, snow packed in the fenders like this is not good at all and a pain to get out. With this much snow and ice I would go over a bump and the rear tires would lock up.

Freezing fog will do this to trees.

Once I filled up I calculated almost 31 mpg. I don't think that I could have driven this far though.

This is how you pack for two people when taking the Z.

Jeremy,

I love the shots....esp. the one with the 30-30. I have one and love to shoot it when I can.

The Z looks good with the snow.....I don't think I would have climbed a hill for the shot tho.

The tree's look cool with all the snow on them like that too.

Thanks for the pics ! Looks like you had a fun trip.

The Z did really good in the snow considering how bad the tires are. I am down to the wear bars on both rears and completely bald on the inside.
