Is this srs? I really hope not because your Z was beautiful.

I've never understood hydroplaning or how it happens? Maybe I've just always driven cars that were too big. I can understand flooring it and started to slide sideways, but I've never understood how you drive through water and lose control. Unless it's like when your driving down a 35 mph road and hit a patch of water near the curb and it pulls you a little, but magnified at higher speeds.

its like your car is skiiing...but on all four wheels - at the slightest turn, you WILL lose it...fwd or rwd...be glad youre used to heavy vehicles.

+1 once you feel the slightest bit of floating, skiing or gliding you have to let off the gas if you stay on it at all you can get sideways in a hurry.

If you watch News 8 WFAA you may have seen my work building, and the apartments next to it that had to be evacuated due to flooding. Whole cars submerged the water got so high, apartments flooded as well.

VIDEO

Water in the street and parking lots easily chest deep. Further on down the road the whole creek had swallowed up the bridge that passes over it. At the lowest point of the road a Prius was parked, you couldn't even see the roof!

Fire engines and helicopters were used to rescue people from their roofs.

Dang, crazy stuff...

100% chance of thunderstorms all throughout the night and into tomorrow again, then continuing over the weekend.

I might need to invest in a boat so I can ride down to the store.
