Update; in my search for a 350Z I ended up finding a 300ZX. I'm more familiar with the 300's, have worked on lots of them, and they are cheaper due to age/mileage, etc. So I bought it lol.

So I'm officially a "Z" owner...just not the 350Z. Close enough?

lol, a bit too soon for me. I'll be repairing it for the next few weeks. Bad O2 sensors so it runs PIG rich, torn CV boot so it leaks power steering fluid everywhere, alignment is off and wheels out of balance.

When it's not leaking fluids and dumping gas out of the tailpipes I do plan to track it though. I've always like the 300's, and with some money I think they can handle just fine. Coming from an MR2 a lot of guys call them "big heavy pigs that can't handle" but I'm not quite so ignorant.
