It's good to be there for him and show him your support.
Still wasn't feeling 100% ...but went to neighbors house and barely made it to midnight .....only drank 1 beer ....And I was home and in bed by 12:15.
MY wife stayed and did shots of Patron while I left.
Slept in 'til about noon....now I am finally feeling a bit better.....this crud has lingered on forever.
I hope everyone had a good time & was safe !

So I went to sleep around 4. Woke up at 11 and we found one guy completely drunk, mixing music and dancing. He never went to sleep. When I went to sleep he wasn't even that drunk...
Hey guys, I figured out what my CEL was for and I fixed the problem, but I am still seeing the CEL. From what I've read, I need to reset the CEL to see if the problem has really been fixed, but I'm not sure how. Any help?
I've done this before myself and it seemed to work...however, there are many disputes over it really working.
I have heard you can actually disconnect the negative battery terminal for like 12 hrs and purge any stored electricity by hitting brake pedal. ..... I would do a search for ECU reset.
anyways...here is the one from Technosquare.

It should reset after driving for a while, at least mine always has. Last time I had to drive for like 110 miles before it finally turned itself off. Of course now it's back on but for something different. Anybody know what a P/N position sensor is. I was thinking park/ neutral position sensor but I have a six speed.
You want to reset your CEL? Follow my steps as-is.
-Put your key to ON position (don't start) for 3 seconds
-Stomp on accelerator pedal to the floor 5 times within 5 seconds
-Wait 7 seconds
-Stomp and hold accelerator pedal to the floor for 10 seconds
*if you have CEL code, it'll start blinking here to tell you which one (you count the blinks)
-Wait 10 seconds
-Stomp and hold accelerator pedal to the floor for 10 seconds
-Take key out of ignition
^tip: If you have your driver's door open, the key-in-ignition-when-door-ajar beeps every second. Count along with the beep for accuracy.
Taking out your battery method, is iffy. I wouldn't believe that to do anything. The ECU is probably flash memory, which means that draining the battery doesn't do anything to its data. You have to physically reset it yourself. BTW, if you want to do the disconnect method, you also want to step on the brake pedal for a second or two after disconnecting the battery to discharge everything.
Also, your ECU is a learning ECU so it does technically "fix" itself over time, but why not just helping along by resetting?

If you're not throwing any codes, I believe it's supposed to blink slow 10 times, fast 10 times and repeat.
Once you record all the codes, click the below thread to see what that code means or use a service manual for more info:
