Jody's rant
Ok so my.daughter has driven around very responsibly in her little 02 corolla for 7 years. No prob. So deserving of a new car we go find a great new 2010 scion.... beautiful little ride, and oh so proud she is. Goes to school today ( Texas State) comes out to find someone punched the crap.out of the.passenger side rear bumper....and drove off ! WTF ? IT'S NOT like a little tap they may not have felt... they new they hit her car. Sometime I wish that this offense was considered justifiable you know what ! The car is still so new, doesn't even have plates yet ! PIGS ! Thanks. I feel better

That really sucks ! What a coward. Too bad nobody was there see it or a surveillance cam.

Dunno... find out tomorrow. The whole bumper I think is trash, and the quarter panel been dented. She is going to call t school to see about vid/cams.

I don't know what it is 
First people said it was a broken water pump, second people said it was the head gasket, i finally took it to nissan and they said if it was the head gasket that it'd be the first one they'd seen in 7 years to have that happen so its a little relieving that it's not THAT major of a problem! haha
JLS I know what you mean though I got hit in both the front and rear bumper of my car while it was parked within the same month and they just drove off. I hate people like that and if you find them and want somebody to help you hunt them down just let me know
i just got both parts in though (thank god for this forum and craigslist) for about $245 each painted and put them on so it looks nice and clean again. Good luck finding those a-holes though

Lol if it's another head gasket problem, good luck with that. Couple FX guys have been to the dealership SO many times over that problem. Just be glad they are at least recognizing it quickly. One guy had his radiator replaced and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Joking aside, sorry to hear about that, though. I see **** like that all the time in Chicago but that's because there's no place to park and they're used to bumping each other. No excuses for that in Dallas, imho.
