What's a good fast car with decent gas mileage? I only get 19-20 in mine and I'm looking for 25+. I made another post and they thought it was a joke that I wanted to get an 04 mini cooper s or a dodge caliber. I like the looks of both and they get 6more mpg at least more than the Z. DFW opinions?

 

Why you want a fast car when you have a Z

The DD I have is a corolla..... great gas, comfy, and cheap.

get an STI. as long as you dont drive like need for speed, you can actually get decent fuel economy in those things. and they are pretty durn fast. and AWD

 

Ok, so I have the performance dampers..... what else is different in reguards to the Nismo than the Track suspension ??? Anybody

 

I'm going to be driving back and forth between dfw and austin a couple times a month for the next few years so I need better gas mileage than the 19-20mpg on my Z =/ I'll miss it though for sure.

 

thats still kinda low mileage... I drive between fort worth and college station all the time and on the highway i easily get 27mph, but average 25

 

Mazdaspeed 3. Decently fast, great gas mileage, roomy and turbo lol but don't get the new body style.

 

Nissan Altima SE-R is damn quick too and gets a little better gas mileage. Nicely equipped as well

The Nismo Z besides cosmetic looking has additional ( stiffer ) suspension and also a higher rev limiter....7200 rpm ???? not sure of any other minor details.

 

So.... I'm an undercover Nismo ? Ha ha

I know they had H.P. upgrades under the hood that I don't have.

Hey everyone just wanted to give the dfw lounge first dibs on the nismo. I am going to put up an add tomorrow selling my nismo. Only 25k miles and car looks and runs good. 287 on mustang dyno. All mods tires and extras will go with the car. Not looking to part out unless someone who is buying the car doesn't want something. Only selling because I want a 300zx dyno queen

Just thought I would toss a heads up.
