I barely made it home in the z. If the roads don't clear up tomorrow I don't know if I'll be able to make it to work. I got stuck twice on my way home.

Aww Jody, sorry to hear about that.

I hope the damage wasn't too bad. Bummer on the rim....I hope you can find a replacement fairly cheap.

I'm glad your OK though....sucks that you had to spend the night at work. It's hard sleeping in a place your not accustomed to.

You'll get the Z back to 100% soon.

Make sure all your suspension is ok. I slapped a curb once and the rim was only scratched, but my spring bucket was bent. Although it was pretty obvious, because I don't have rear wheel steer.

Lol ! were all thinking it was the Z.

Not that it makes it better...bummer for the DD.
-----------------

Well with all the ice and 3 days of driving to work, I finally hit a patch of ice and skidded over a median on 2499. Almost hit a truck from on coming traffic, but luckily avoided it. As I was going thru the 180 slide.... I ended up in the far right lane from on comiong traffic going the other direction. Thank goodness nobody was hurt & car was fine ! Go figure ???
I can only guess that as I slide around the back end went over the median first at an angle one tire at a time...and the curb must have had a buiild up of snow/ice in it to give me a 45º ramp up and over the curb and median. Otherwise I think I would have busted a wheel or two.

I have a small busted clip on the inner wheel well of the frt Rt passenger side. Nothing to worry about tho.

I was a lucky fugger !

Glad you're ok. I hope the damage wasn't too bad and hopefully your insurance will take care of it.

For those who are driving their cars, I really hope you aren't on anything less than good A/S tires.

The highways are clearing up now, it's the side streets and under bridges that are still bad. I'm still seeing idiots who are driving 70+ on the highway forgetting about hidden ice.

Man it's nice to have my 4x4 in this crap. It's manageable in most vehicles, but much safer in my Tahoe. Then again... It sure is fun sliding around without the 4x4 engaged.

^ Nice of you to stop and make sure the driver was OK. Not many people like that these days. When I was changing my blown out tire in the 6 degree weather on a dark highway nobody stopped to help (well, cops stopped and were extremely helpful.. my only positive experience with popos).
