i believe AAM y-pipe is 3 inch, well as long as its for a price that i cant resist i would buy it ..... i didn't know Almost3flips has motordyne exhaust im gonna have to pm him. Do you know if its 3inch true dual??

Dude i don't know...LOL. I always have some weird stuff in my car.

 

I'm true dual and I kept my torque, at least from what I can feel. X pipes help that. I did feel like I might have lost some though when I put my test pipes in.

 

Customer just dropped his Z off for some heavy breathing mods, headers, test pipes and a plenum spacer. The Z looks AMAZING! I am sure Chris and I are going to be working late tonight on this guy.

 

Stephen, What does the customer want to achieve besides a noisy A$$ loud smelly car ?

I was under the impression that headers for the Z do almost nothing for gains....As the Test pipes might give him some low end torque & little HP.

Just curious ???

 

headers help some - peops just dont wanna waste 600 bones for 10hp.. that mated with some HFC's or TP's, exhuast, and a tune - could provide some ok numbers... but ya - his shiet is Def going to be loud..

Test pipes give more power than any other N/A mod and the gains are had across the board. The headers also net you some gains, but not much on top of the test pipes. Headers will only give you good gains if it works well with the specific set of cams chosen and with a tune.

 

I want some HFC's ! Anybody know where to get some Crawfords or Berks for good price or even free shipping ! I would get them.

 

Chris I got mine from the them Cali dudes - they always have good shiet on sale... and it was local sale only too - but I "convinced" him to ship..

 

Yeah I was looking at some on a couple sites...but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I did call this one place up that had BNIB Hotchkis sways for $ 329.00 and even got them to ship them to me for free ! Good deal I think.

I will be getting the HFC's soon....if I can just find a place that sells them for a decent price & get free or very very cheap shipping I'll get them.
