So I finished with the front sway bar & it only took me like 3hrs ! Before you laugh at me, let me tell you the chain of events:

-took off under skirting...no prob
-got all my sockets & breaker bar out and started to town on the bolts...Opps big prob !
- Seems as though as I was cranking on a 14mm nut to loosen I heard a snap or crack ! so I'm thinking sweet...that wasn't to bad now I broke it loose....Wrong ! I freakin cracked the socket....and it was a craftsman socket....I thought they were good and strong.
-So off to Home Depot to get a new socket & found me some Bolt Off.
- That stuff worked awesome....It still took a ton of strength from me but I finally got all 8 botls loose. The 17mm's were cake.
- Oh, also i had some AC guys working up in the attic replacing my Evap. coil & plenum. Lol ....my house got an upgraded plenum spacer for the AC !

So with all my mis-fortunes of time...I actually finished in good time....NOT !

-Still have the Rear sway to do...but I'm tired...do it later.

Doesn't Craftsman have a lifetime warranty (they probably require a receipt, though)?

Good choice on the Hotchkis sways. I have them on mine and like it more than some of the others I've seen.

Yes, no and I agree lol. Craftsman does have a lifetime warranty and you don't need a receipt (at least I didn't) just take it to a sears ad they should give you a new one for free. I like those sways and I think I shall buy some lol.

Chris, I have a JWT clutch and flywheel but I have it set to engage close to right off the flirt so I think it just surprised him since it engaged earlier than a lot of clutches do. Same thing happened to Gavin the other day web he drive my car.

Ah, can't go wrong with JWT for entry level clutches. Do you like having the engagement so close to the floor? I like mine higher/away from the floor.

I love it like that. Seems easier for me to engage from first and especially on hills. Yes I have to move my leg further to disengage the clutch when I shift but it doesn't bother me one bit.

Is anyone gonna be going to the time trials at mineral wells on the 30th? Im really wanting to go but I'd like to go with someone if possible.

The car will be tuned by there so it is a major possibility for me.

Craftsman should have a lifetime warranty on it...I plan to take it back to Sears and get another one....I don't have my receipt, but they should be ok with it. I have heard that good things about the Craftsman warranty...that's why I bought them.

Yeah, I desperately need to upgrade the suspension and other things. Just more things to help me drive a bit better/faster on the courses.

Chris , you gonna be down in Dallas anytime soon ? Let me know when you head down so we can get a meet or BBQ set up.

I'll be back in Dallas very soon. I may be attending the upcoming autox events, depending on whether or not I get some stuff done.

I can't make it to the time trials, but I might be able to make the autoX the day after. I'm almost certain I'll be at the May 14th one, though. I know a lot of you guys have gotten more seat time since I left, so try to not to beat me too bad at the autox as I'm pretty much back to square 1. We're still getting snow (just this Monday actually) up here so I've forgotten what having traction was like.

It takes about 8 hours to get it tuned and dialed in the way we want.
