Great feedback everyone.I'll be making a trip up there in a few weeks to scope it out some more and meet some of the SVPs and AVPs up there.

Ill be looking to rent a house or upscale apt with attached garage when Im there.I already have a house here in SA that I just never get to enjoy because I keep getting transferred. But hey at least Im still employed and making a very good income _ these projects are just additional bullet points.

Figure Ill be up there by mid Aug if I accept- they are putting together my package so Ill know in a few weeks what they have to offer.Ill be seeking more detailed info then. Thanks everyone.

Cool.....Stick by Vista ridge mall for the nicer apts - townhome style, etc or on the east side of IH-35 next to the Target, there are nicer apt there on Lakepointe Drive and Hebron Pkwy....a few even offer two car garage.....etc...

Come to McKinney man, it's nice, new and affordable. I live in Windsor Meadows in the Westridge Golf Community and it's not that expensive at all. If you want a loft style apartment with an attached garage, the Mansion's are right around the corner off of Custer. The drive isn't bad at all.

Lewisville isnt bad at all.. Being in carrollton, I feel that Im central to everything. Airport, Downtown DFW, etc are just 15-20 mins away.

+1 on the apts on hebron and lakepointe..those are NICE...

I have family in Lewisville and it's a nice area. I would love to work there. Can anyone clue me in on any meets going on the weekend of 06-19 ? I will be up there then and would like to show up to one. I probably won't be driving my car since it's a 6mt and i just had knee surgery =/

Yes you do. There are completely dry areas within the city of Dallas. for instance, several square miles around the Medical City Hospital at 75/Forest. no beer or liquor sold anywhere except restaurants. (as of 2-3 years ago anyway). Dallas has some weird zoning laws.
