Default I need a new job

I'm not unemployed, but I really need something else. I have a business degree and I'm not using it. I'm working in the oilfield right now and it's past time I got away from that. I've put my resume in several places, but there have been no bites.

Does anyone know of any job leads?

Hey Eric,

I will check around to see who I might know that can get you in somewhere.

Have any other Qualifications that might help you out ? A Minor in anything...
..management skills, etc....

Keep your head up, things will get better.

Just remember...." Opportunity is when Luck meets Preparation. "

Hey Chris, long time man.

Thanks for looking out for me.

Yes I have a Minor in Management with a few years of management experience. I'm really just looking for anything that could lead to a career. The oilfield is not a career.

About your quote " Opportunity is when Luck meets Preparation. " ...
I feel like I spent all those years working full time while going through school "preparing" myself. Now I just need the "Luck" part of it all.

Let me know of anything that might help. Thanks Chris.

I refuse to believe this. There are always jobs available. If not, then this would mean that nobody ever advanced or left a job to create an opening.

It's tough right now, but not impossible.

Very good point Brian. It's hard to find things paying the same or more. I'm mentally prepared to take a pay cut. I just need to get my ducks in a row. Z for sale...

dont even trip and start going there Eric..PM me your resume and I can see about some possible positions at my job ...NO IT - since you have the degree, I will see if they have something that requires your bus degree as a requirement. and I doubt you will have to take a pay cut..

Hey Eric,

Keep your chin up and always remember that if you don't ask for it.....you'll never get it !

So don't assume that you'll have to take a pay cut to get into a new job.

It's all on how you market yourself and positioning ! Be the cutting edge of your Trend ! You will succeed my friend !

May not meet your salary requirements, but they're hiring collectors at Bank of America. Amon Carter call center. Anyone else interested, send me a PM with your contact info.

Hey, i applied for this, and never got a call back... I'm really well known at the DFW airport, been here for 6+ years. i know all the cargo facilites extremely well. I thought that being in CBP would be an excellent opportunity to do something different yet kind of the same.

5+ years management experience
Scheduling, Excel.
Pretty much anything i would need to be a proficient supervisor or manager.
