Stretch also depends on the tire and your opinion.
A nankang ns2 is gonna have a smaller section width than say a dunlop re050. some tires of the same size give more rim poke than others, depends if u want poke or stretch or both.

well the only problem is the tires i just got new ones not to long ago so i dont want to change those... they are 45 series. im just scared of the 10.5 stretch on the rear
you should be fine...245 wont stretch too bad on 10.5"...like cornell said it depends on the section width of tire...you should be fine though...
nooooooooo... they won't stretch too much... my R-compounds (quite wider than regular tires) 275/40 don't bulge on a 9.5" rim... with a 245 on a 10.5 you'll have at least 1 1/4" less from thread and 1" more in wheel to fill...
I'm with old school... better function and protection from potholes with "normal" look.
Houston doesn't have the perfect asphalt you'd find on the japanese roads.
