It hit 105 yesterday according to local news (and 105 according to my gauge) today is supposed to hit 106!!! And stay pretty close to that ALL week long...

I went outside to check my mail and noticed a squirrel fanning a bird off with a pair of leaves.

Hot as hell in Austin also. I went outside for 30 minutes with a wife beater on. Now i have a permanent wife beater, lol.

getting into the car after its been sitting outside in the sun feels like when you open the oven up to check on the food cooking.

 

Only it's like you're getting in the oven instead of pulling food out!

I was where a car sitting in 100d temps can get up to near 200d!!!

 

111 degrees on my commute home yesterday afternoon.

 

Try having a Blk car....it's like 40º difference from a sliver car to a blk car in the heat. I took a reflective reading off my car and then my silver car.

 

have you ever walked down the road and it's so damn hot that the tar from the ground starts sticking to your shoes. that is how you know it is hot as shiet.

I would have to have underwear filled with icecubes to wash my car in this heat!

 

Try walking down the sidewalk and the rubber from your soles starts coming off like chewed bubblegum....

 

pffffffffft....it aint hot... I got a plenum install and a fender roll today...just have some water handy and a few fans...and your good...
