Default Insurance cost in Texas

I couldn't find a thread about what everyone is paying for insurance here in Texas. Got a roadster coming in and want to have all you guys input before I select a company. I know diff areas of the state have diff rates, but any info woulld be a big help. I'm 54, married, got wife's Tahoe w/Allstate, good driving record (at least till I get the Z) and live in Central Texas. Thanks.

A little under $1800/ year with USAA. I also have my Civic and my bike under the same insurance policy.

I pay just over 1100 a year - that's with a couple of speeding tickets. I carry pretty high limits (they were recommended by a financial planner), but still feel I'm getting a decent rate with USAA.

Thanks guys, got a quote from my Allstate agent (already have Tahoe covered by them, but not Home ins) and he said it would be $970 per year. Must be because I live out in the sticks, instead of city. But, they said rates will likely go up in Jan, I may insure before car comes in just to lock in a low annual rate.

Maybe we'll cross each other on the highway, look for a LS Roadster going ***** to the wall.

I pay 2220 per year. I am still under the magic age of 25. Less than a year to go! I can't wait to pay so little for ins. I also have renters and my truck on the same policy. 300 a month for everything. but also, I have high liability coverage as a requirement for work so that adds a lot.

Thanks for all your input. I checked out Progressive and was able to save a bundle. Had my 03 Tahoe with Allstate for 1056/yr, just agreed to sign on with Progressive with Tahoe and Roadster for 1406/yr. Upon your next renewal, you might want to give Progressive a call. BTW, without the Roadster, the policy would be 850/yr. Being older w/no tickets or wrecks and living in the sticks helps.
