Where in dfw does one get keys made?

Besides dealerships that charge an arm and a leg anyone know anyplace that makes z keys?

usually any good hardware store should have a key fabrication machine and they will also do automotive keys

I thought that all the keys had a chip inside and will need to be programed to the vehichle ?

I don't think you can just get a spare or replacement and use it. I was told you car would shut down and not be able to restart.....or some kind of BS like that.

Anyone know any better ?

I did get a replacement from the Stealership about a yr. ago.

ya but theyd have to be programmed per specific vehicle i know some locksmiths invested in the tech but does anyone know one in particular?
