I'll be in Dallas for my spring break, too. When's yours? If there's no meet, you could probably set one up yourself.

Ha, I'll be in Dallas from 3rd through 13th.

I was thinking of setting one up for when I'm there, but you can start one for your dates instead. I've seen these local guys before and they're not the prettiest of the bunch; cool as hell, but not my type.

Haha! Well I was just hoping something was going on while I was there. I'd hate to start one myself because I have a lot of plans while I'm there. I was gonna swing by a meet if one had already been planned. Bummer.

Go to that thread, introduce yourself and see what the locals say. They're real friendly.

I'll do that, thanks. By the way, what are you going to do there?

Hang out with my girl, catch up on some school work, see my family.. just normal stuff, I guess. I'm missing a HUGE car show in Chicago during my break, though.

You driving to Dallas? If so, more reasons for you to start a meet. Just bring up the idea with the locals and see where it goes.

Nice, sounds like fun (besides school work). Which of the malls would you recommend?

Yeah, I'm gonna be driving.

Galleria (Dallas) > Stonebriar (Frisco) & Willowbend (Plano) > the others (Grapevine Mills Mall, Collin Creek Mall, Valley View, etc).

There's also the Allen Outlets, which is pretty nice.. but not as nice as San Marcos.

boosted806....I'm sure if you post up early enough, you can get some response from the local peeps here....or they may already have one going on.
But don't wait until the last minute because these guys are not spontaneous on meeting up at places.

There are sure nice & friendly members out here both Male & female.....so I'm sure you'll get a chance to hook up with some of us. I'm a bit on the Old side for most of these guys....but it would be my pleasure to meet a new face that is visiting Dallas.

As 3hree5ive0ero said...there are many cool malls and places to eat in the big D.....If you have a GF with you or a Buddy with you...Grapevine or Stonebriar have cool things in both of them....like Ice skating rinks, Arcades, and good places to eat.....not to mention some movie Theater's too.

Too bad you'll miss 3hree5ive0ero....he is very knowledgeable on the Z & is a great guy to boot !

I hope to see you when you get in town 3hree5ive0ero !

^ +1 on giving everyone a heads up.

Thanks for the kind words, Chris. I bought my plane tickets already but there's a chance I might not be able to make it for spring break. It depends on whether or not I have interviews in Chicago during that time. I'll definitely let you guys know. I haven't hung out with the DFW Z crew in a while so I'd like to chill with you guys when I'm there for sure.

I'd say go to Galleria first (biggest and has everything) then hit up Stonebriar. Grapevine mall is small. There's a lot more to do around Stonebriar than Grapevine, also. Willowbend is about 20 minutes away from Stonebriar, which is 20 minutes away from Galleria. Stonebriar has Cheesecake Factory inside, also.
