$350 definitely sounds like just the front lower kit(front bumper only). I don't know for sure for Z's, but G35's have 3 kits. There is a front bumper lower that includes the complete bumper cover, inside the front vent holes and the tow hook cover. Then it moves up to a full front kit that also includes the upper bumper to grill, upper fenders, front of the hood and the mirror caps. Finally, there is a complete kit that also includes the A pillars and the front of the roof.

I did a full front that cost me $450. I had it installed by Pitch's Window Tinting. Pitch is mobile, but works out of Affordable Hubcaps and Wheels down on Harry Hines. If you have an enclosed garage, he could do it at your house. Keep in mind though that it takes a couple of hours to install. Because of all the curves on the front end and grill area, it took 3.5 hours to get it installed on my car. Pitch's # is 972-768-8264.

Grubb's ripped my clear bra off to touch up my bumper. The body shop manager decided to sand the whole thing down, clean it and repaint.

I will be waiting another 5 or 6 weeks until the paint cures and then probably go with Alta Mere again.

This is actually getting funny.

Funny that the thread has drawn almost 500 views thus far... By far the most popular thread over the past 30 days.

Im far from it Skibum :-/

Funny story. I dropped off my car yesterday morning and got a rental car (Service manager told me that she was going to just find me a ride to and from work, but I guess 72* hadn't talked to her).

So I took the rental car and left 72 the keys for my car. I left my apartment key on my keyring because I was told it would take about 2 hours for them to do the work. They were just going to touch it up, but the Body Shop manager decided to just re-do the whole thing.

So...72 called me up at the office at about 4PM and said "Hey buddy, the car wont be ready until tommorow because of the weather". I knew the weather had nothing to do with it, I had already talked to the Body shop manager..besides, they do their work inside!

Anyhow, I was super busy at work so I forgot that my apartment key was on the keyring. I ended up going into the dealership after they body shop was closed.

I got Terry (the GM) to go back and open up the body shop. It took him almost an hour to find my key!!!

At least I butchered up his night along with mine. He was just laughing about it when he came out and gave me my key. He said he was about to tell me I could just crash at his place last night, lol!

*I affectionately refer to my service representative as 72, as I suspect that is roughly where his IQ score falls .

hmmm I read your story and laughed pretty good. Sorry, but you have to admit that the whole thing is quite funny in a sad 72 kind of way! Seriously, hang in there! 72 that is quite good. You know we are all going to think 72 the next time we stumble upon a knucklehead
