So I guess you didn't like the SX idea, huh?
I figured y'all should go, esp. since Sage looks kind of like a younger Jeremy McGrath.
What better way to say you love him than to buy him a $10 Supercross ticket?

If you've never seen one, I've got plenty of races on video you're welcome to borrow, though it's much more exciting in person. I went to my first one as an adult back in '01 on a Sat. night, and got so I excited I bought a YZ426F 5 nights later.
It's sensory overload...you can see the entire track, and half the riders are flying through the air in all different directions. Much more spectator-friendly, and more exciting, than road racing IMO. During the day, you can go through the pits, drool over the factory bikes/rigs, get autographs, & plenty of other distractions. Bubba Stewart is making his first appearance of the year (this is the first round of 125 East), and he's the most amazing rider I've ever seen...at the ripe old age of 17.
You can watch practice/qualifying rounds from pretty much any seat in the house during the day, and last year Chuck, James, and I got to walk/climb the track and make an appearance on the podium.
Chuck is going w/ us, and Chuck, James, and me are all going to the Dallas SX.
Last but not least, Supercross after-party details:

For those not interested in going to Houston (went last week, probably going next.)
How's this
Where: RPM Indoor Raceway
When: Saturday, Feb 14th, 2004 7PM
What: Non-competitive (yeah right!) cart racing!
Who: Anybody that wants to do something different for Valentine's
Afterwards, we could hit up some restaurant nearby to discuss the "races." Then who knows what
What do you all think?

Thanks to all that came out to RPM and elsewhere tonight. Oh, wait, that was just me and Megan, from here....
Well, we ended up having a good time. Jeff from the S2K group and Bill from SoulSpeed came out. Jeff, Megan, Sage, and I had a good time at RPM Indoor Raceway. *note to self: work out more*
Next get together should be a Hill Country Run with the S2K folks. Leave around 10, hit Opies for lunch, then......sleep, err, I mean drive back.
What do you all think? Should be fun in the Neon rental
