Talking Z fan but 8 owner

I thought I would share my ride with a forum that I have kept watch upon.

I, actually, wish I could have a Z myself, but I guess I will just have to meet them on the road.

Well, I hope you like. And, for those Zs in Houston, be on the look out for my car.

Cool ride man... nice to have an 8 owner over here without flaming the Z. Since you have the Mazdaspeed package, is that a 10-15hp boost over normal (stock)?

nah...i don't bash cars no matter how fast or slow they claim to be. i am a car enthusiast, so i will most likely like something about most cars.

my particular favorites right now are the rx8, 350z, and s2000.

as for added horses, i am waiting on a ecu upgrade. this should bring my car back to the "original" 8 specs. supposedly there have been claims that this chip even adds a little extra. but, i am not claiming anything until i test it myself.

thanks for the compliments..

That's one sweet looking car. The RX8 would have been my second choice if I couldn't / didn't get a Z for any reason. Love the front end on that thing.

The front end really is a piece of artwork.

BTW, nice color choice!

Rotary Performance has an exhaust upgrade that'll give you 20rwhp, IIRC. It replaces the muffler (w/ 2 small GReddy units), pre-silencer straight pipe, and one of the cats.

Michael.

Nice, I'm not a big fan of the 8 but yours looks pretty sweet with the kit.

Boogak, do you enjoy wasting Artic Silver?

c$v RX8, where in Houston do you live? Wanna meet up some time for a lil fun run?

Thanks everyone...

Yea, I am working on the performance piece next. I was reading up on my ECU upgrade, and people with the same mod have been getting some consistent results...

Hopefully, I will be able to get some good power to represent the 8 in a respectable fashion.

Michael, I will definitely look into your exhaust suggestion.

I parked way out in no mans land tonight when I went to dinner. When I came out a silver RX8 was parked next to me, they really are nice looking cars. What caught my attention were the seats, they had red in them. Those seats looked sweet..that an option?

Same thing happened to me last summer.

It's nice to see Mazda has good taste in "blues"...

hahahahahah...good stuff fellas.

Enron Exec, i live on the southeast side of Houston. I will be down to go at a run sometime. But, let me put my ecu upgrade in first. I have run one of my friend's 350z before and I know where i stand.

i'll keep you guys updated on how this upgrade improves my car.

as for the 8, there is an option for the two-tone leather seats. i however went for the two tone cloth(kind of like racing seats). as for the color, the color i have is by far the best imo. the 350z has way better colors. if i ended up purchasing the z i would have either got the blue or the white.

if you ever see me on the road and want to check out my baby up close, don't be affraid to flag me down.
