Default Austin/Houston Dealers

Anyone know of a good Austin or Houston dealer with good prices on their enthusiast models? I would rather buy it in the Austin area, but am not limited to here.

Anyone have any BAD experiences with dealers in either of these cities? Thanks for the help

Stay away from MAXWELL TOWN NORTH NISSAN they really are a$$'s. I have heard of many issues with repairs and when I went looking for a Z there they just ignored me and would not even let me open the door of the one on the floor.

I finally ot mine from Round Rock Nissan. I had no issues when buying or the time when my ECU messed up and the car would not start. They fixed the issue no questions asked.

They are not too mod freindly, they charged me some extra labor because I have custom kick panels with a 4 inch mid and 1 inch tweet. They said it was custom so they had to charge extra, enven though it was built off the factory panel with same clips and all.

That brings up a question, anyone know of a Mod friendly dealer in the Austin area?

Dmazyn, thanks for your input. I also posted a similar thread in the general section and someone else told me to go to RR Nissan. I will have to go by there this weekend or something. Who was your salesman? If he/she was good, I will use them also.

On a side note, I might have to meet up with you one day to take a listen to your Borla TD setup. Mebbe let the wife tag along to see if she likes it too

Talk to Reuben down at South Point Nissan and tell him Rob w/ the black 350z sent you. I've sent a lot of folks his way and he knows not to mess around with Z buyers and BS them. He got me 2k over KBB on my Eclipse GT and got me a deal when nobody was doing deals on 350s back early in '03.

Default I'll have to agree w/ Danny......

I was originally working with a salesperson over at Town North. When it finally came down to make a deal, the punk kid sales manager would not work with me. Basically told me he would rather sell to someone else to make some money than show me some good faith & give me a deal. As a side note, I'm the current President of the local Z club. I wasn't asking for much, just did not want to pay sticker.

Went over to Round Rock and they gave me the deal I wanted, no hassels. Even found me a roadster in the color and configuration I wanted within a week. No need to wait the 60-90 days like most people at the time.

If you go over to RR, talk to Dustin Krueger and let him know I sent you. He'll take care of you.

I still purchase parts over at Town North and always have a good experience with their department.

Service at both locations has done well also.

Good luck with your search.

Default RR Nissan it is...

Whelp, I think that settles it. Actually, I think RR Nissan sealed the deal when the guy from Town North called me back and after leaving a somewhat long message, he proceded to sing the Town North jingle into my answering machine!! I was laughing so hard, I had to replay the message just to hear what he actually had to say. Thanks for all of your input guys. Someone @ RR Nissan will be getting some commission out of me in the near-near future.
