Correct, aftermarket exhausts do not void the warranty, BUT they do allow Dealerships to give you hard time if something goes wrong with your car.

If you live in a area where they have a Nissan dealership that sell and install aftermarket performance parts (like Performance Nissan) then you probably won't have any problems, but if the only dealership in your area is a small one then odds are they will make your life hell to get warranty work done on your car if you have aftermarket parts on it. In these cases your better off with Nismo products IMO.

Looking on the internet there is about $400 difference between the two exhausts... Fair deal to me is trade + $200 + costs of swaping them out. IMO

 

dude, do u know how much more the hks costs than the nismo? u could just sell urs and buy a brand new nismo + installation for a better deal than that.

Trade fail. The Crawford has a crack. He told me that I can easily weld it. I didn't wanna go through troubles of doing it.

Your warranty will not be void. Don't let your brother scare the shiet out of you. Nismo is a bit louder than stock. Why don't you look for some south cal member with Nismo and listen to it.

 

If you prefer one exhaust over another, and want to trade, its none of my business why. You will find a NISMO owner who is willing. Negotiate.

 

In all honesty and fairness to the Nismo, I love it. I was so scared that Id get an exhaust that I didnt like. But the Nismo blew me away, coupled with the Popcharger and MD spacer, I love how it sounds. I look like such a dumb a** hanging my head out the window when I drive! Esp when driving though a tunnel or toll booth. I think what makes me second guess the Nismo is the looks. HKS looks so hot. Nismo has its own appeal to it though. I like how the tips looks

After countless hours of thinking about your opinions, I have decided TO KEEP MY HKS. Who cares what my brother says! In my personal opinions, HKS sounds good and look really cool.

I got several serious offers from interested members who own Nismo exhaust. Again, thanks for your offers. I guess I'll keep my exhaust
