Default HKS or INVIDIA ?

I'm looking into getting an exhaust for my Z and I'm wondering which one is going to give me more power. i have heard that the HKS is quit.but the invidia is cheaper.

Wrong forum.

I recommend that you

a. Set a budget.
b. Decide what configuration you want. Single. Dual. One or two mufflers. Y-pipe?
c. Shop for catback exhaust systems which meets your budget and selection criteria.
d. Pick your favorite.

Bubble, why does your price vary? I've seen 1250, 1279 and now 1300 from you. I'm confused.. Also, I'm considering the HKS exhaust, and may get it when the money is available..

The 1300 was just a ball park figure. Head to the exhaust part of the forum for a wealth of information and SOUND CLIPS. While not the best, they do help.

Side note...I think the Invidia sounds horrible. That's my opinion though.

HP Ti does not have welded tips. They bolt on with screws. It's not all that loud either. GHEY. lol. Invidia is LOUD (at least on the hub's STi, it screams).

HKS HP Ti

Yeah I thought it was silencers at first, but that's really just how the tips stay on .

Not sure about the Invidia... But the HKS is a really nice 1... I would actually get the Greddy Evo2 if you think the HKS cost too much... IMO

Invidia G200 is NOT Loud. It has a nice mellow sound at idle, absolutely no drone, and it wails at WOT. It's a great exhaust, except, it does not come with an "X" or an "H". I added an "H" pipe to mine to smooth out the pulses, and I luv the exhaust now. mine is paired with Crawford HF Cats and Crawford Headers.
