Question for vendors who sell UTEC
I've been surfing all night for a UTEC + Tuner + Map switch combo. Twice tonight I've added to cart and moved on to read the Terms and Conditions only to find out that "no returns on electronics, including EMS". And "return within 5 days."
The return within a week I can deal with. Typically, I've read, if the UTEC connects via console out of box then it will work fine in the car. I'll probably get it hooked up pretty quickly anyway.
But if it is DOA, does the no returns apply?
One more question:
Anyone offering combo deals on the above? I'm ready now. I'd just like to find somewhere who will work with me to make a package. And of course be willing to do a return (or exchange because I would want to try again) if the UTEC or Tuner shows up DOA.
Please PM. I need a UTEC so bad I can taste the command-line....
Thx!

No offense to other Unichip owners here at all, and this suggestion is offered with the cavea that i've done only tons of homework but have no real world experience (yet) with either unit.. but..
Both are good systems. I have a buddy with a unichip and his tune is rock solid where he wants it, and he's twin turbo'd.
But, from my research, if you want the ability to more easily adjust your own tune at home, get the UTEC.
If you don't mind being more dependent on dyno services, then the unichip may be a better option because currently more shops have experience with the unichip vs the UTEC.
Good luck!
