Utec is great! did some logging
I finally got my tuner working and did some runs and adjustments. I have the a/f looking pretty good. I am curious, how much variance do you get pulling in different gears? I just pulled in 2nd gear on these runs. I plan on pulling some 3rd gear runs this weekend to compare the values against 2nd gear. Most areas I didnt have to adjust very much. Trying to get that 2250-2750rpm range richer though... I've added a bit of fuel and the results are always small. Ive changed 2500 from 3 to 7.7 and its still around 13.8. I also adjusted the timing a little bit in the middle range where it was dipping down to 19 degrees, just to see how it affected it. I don't think its really possible to optimally adjust the timing without the dyno though.

hey man, get your timing abotu 2 degrees advanced over stock and get your AF ratio about 12.8 to 1 across the board.
try to do some runs in 4th gear, the difference in the gears is the amount of dataloggin per rpm, 4th gear will go about 40 rpms in between each log where 2nd gear will do about 400
good luck, pm me if you have any questions!!

THanks Audible, I read all of your thread prior to even getting my utec and thats what I have been attempting is to get it to 12.8, which most of it is very close. Theres just a couple areas, the 2250-2750 and around 5000 that still need to richen up, and I could lean the top end out a little more, but its at 12.5. I'm going to keep making small adjustments and try to home in on the 12.8 all across the band. I love being able to tune my own car, this is great! I think it would be a lot of fun learning the speed density mode later on.
