Ordered the AAM reflash. Should I spend the extra 400 for dyno tune?

ok you wont really feel anything.. over the reflash you'll probably gain 2-3 whp a more adjusted a/f but that wont be noticed on the butt dyno
use the 400 of the dyno tune on something else at this point imo

i think since you have specified you will be going FI it will be better to start getting some of the other mods that will eventually help you once you are FI... you seem to have enoguh time to get all the complementary mods in the mean time =]

Have you talked with Mike @ AAM? He should have a general idea of how much HP/TQ increase there is from the regualr reflash vs. dyno-tune - I bet it'll range b/c some ppl's regular reflash will be perfect for their car and other's could probably get a bit more.

seems like that's in the range of being reasonable...some ppl pay $2K for exhaust that won't yeild 20 HP. You won't feel +/-5 HP...but adding up all the small increases make a big difference - just depends on how badly you want to get every last drop out of your NA Z.

I meant through the range of na mods. Usually people drop between 4-5k for all bolt ons and cams and get 40 to 50 hp it seems like.

But I am hoping to get 13-15 out of the dyno tune with a total spent of about 1k
