most ppl go with a UTec for piggy-back ECUs. a reflash @ $500 is expensive, but when you start adding up all the costs of buying a Utec and accessories, pay for dyno time and someone to tune it, a Re-Flash is a viable option depending on your plans.

*there are ppl on this forum that will say one is better than the other when comparing ECU flash and piggy-back ECU's...in the end, just add up all the costs associated with either way and choose.

***you're making good power, can't wait to see what you'll put down once you get the AF's adjusted.

His AFR goes down to 12 @7K and its on 13 @5K, plus it never reaches 14 below 4K rpm. And he is making a load of ponies on DynoJet.
Thanks

if u want a piggyback i have a apexi afc-2 for sale if u want it...let me know....it would work fine for na....very tuneable but not for high horsepower though...utec is def better but if cash is a constraint this would work great!

looks very typical of lightly modded 350z.

you will gain significantly from tuning, I would go for either technosquare reflash or if you are willing to spend a lot more money, UTEC+tune

I don't understand how technosquare can just take a list of your current mods and have a perfect reflash... anyone??

they cant...they can get it close...but unless they have the car since every car is different...it will just be closer but not perfect like tuning it on the dyno with a fuel management...

Dont be stupid and call me out on this. Check out the thread https://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=204239 Sharif used to add 11% to the numbers back in the day, he admits this in that thread! Forgot about that huh? He now uses no BS DJ correction if you dyno'd again you wouldnt be close to what you did before....

owning a dynojet and playing with the SAE STD and uncorrected all the time. depending on the weather, the uncorrected could be a few hp higher or lower but the SAE would definitely read lower. i would say for the most part the SAE reads 5-12 hp lower on NA Zs and Gs 95% of the time.

there is definitely some power that can be grabbed out of there, dynos are weird though, i have had cars put down great numbers on a cool dry day and come back to get tuned. they could easily put down 15 less hp when they come back and i sit there all day and tune it back to the high number they put down the first time they were there.

its very hard to compare numbers on dynos...

If I buy a piggy back computer, who would you guys recommend tune it in my area? I'm in Orange County. The other option, Technosquare, will they tune/reflash my car if I take it there? I don't want someone elses tune/reflash put on my car. -if that makes sense. -back hurting. just took a Norco and nothing is making sense. lol
