Default Power steering

Hey guys, i had removed my pulley belts because i thought something was wrong with them but they were fine. but what i am asking is now that i have put my belts back on. my power steering is hard to turn and squeeks really loud. i was wondering if anybody has experienced this problem? and if so how did they resolve it. Thanks, chenzo425

What year is your car? One of my friends uses his 04 Z as his daily and he had his power steering go out completely for an unknown reason. I hope for your sake that you are still under warranty, because otherwise it is extremely expensive to replace any of that stuff.

From your post it sounds like you are having a belt slip because there isnt enough tension somewhere or the power steering is freezing up. Did you check the PS fluid?
