EDIT: **************** ************ ************

I can do that too. Fun huh?

Lol..I must admit this is the first forum debate I've ever had that went backwards in time!! lmao

Anyway, to respond to your post below, I'm not sure why you're all livid about it. I simply suggested that your response was not constructive, and instead antagonistic. You responded with more antagonism. Shame we can't be more civil and just say "gee, i had different info. thanks for the contribution! I can see that view. Here is the info I have.... .... ....what do you think?" Would be nifty neato, wouldn't it?

PS: You're trolling and it's obvious. And therefore I'm done with this.

I don't post on g35driver. I don't drive a g35. ??

Feel free to check my posts here.

You'll find I help every chance I get. And ya..I like to post in non-technical threads once in a while. It's fun. You should grow up and try it sometime.

Gotta love getting dragged into forum debates with 15 yr olds...

To clarify..I don't care about YOU. I do care about the folks who are here for genuine information exchange, friendship, and just plain ol socializing. But that's not why you are here. You are a leech. You've been here since July of 2005 and only 162 posts? Ah well...

And to be honest, you didn't "correct me". You offered your view. See? That's the kind of thing you're missing about how this works.

This was my view...
First, as a professional software developer I can tell you that the GUI... otherwise known as the Graphic User Interface means anything that is non-command-line. Command line is DOS, Linux, IOS, etc...

But you can have a table in a command-line based app. Just draw one up in ASCII. That's not a GUI. Just because you use characters on a screen to draw a "graphic" does not make it a formal GUI.

For point #2, I have not heard of tuners complaining about resolution of the Load Columns. If they are, then great! I am open to that information and that change (as I said in my post). But you did not present it very well, once you got up onto your perch.

But I have heard of tuners complaining that the RPM column could use more resolution so that tuning across the RPM range can be better controlled. And this would also make the UTEC more competitive to products like AEM's EMS.

So you see, it's not that we're in disagreement, really. It's really just that you're an /\$$ (<---I dunno, would I have needed a GUI to write that?)

I really luv you guys. Bickering just like old ladies over crap no one here can effect or change anyway.

I'd like to see a new GUI with NEW Features for the UTEC as well but until TurboSX comes out with an update there is no need to B!tch about it.

I personally would love to see TXS release some kind of SDK for the UTEC, that combined with some kind of on the fly update would be good, the fact that the engine cuts once the UTEC flashes it's ram is very limiting ...

As for gui, I'm a smart guy, I just wrote my own The benefits are that I can smooth out the map because I can visually see the steps etc in hand produced maps ...

hand edited ...

I will be making this program available at some point.

That loos pretty cool, is that simply for datalogging or does it help interpolate the load points as well?

Actually, I was thinking about this on the way into work, it would be easy to add load point interpolation.

On a different note, holycrap does the utec ever read ahead in the fuel map .... I just found changes in the 90% column affecting fuelling in the 50% column!!!!!!!!

lol.. Yea the utec does like to look ahead.. I didnt realize it was THAT far ahead tho..

A new GUI would be nice, but the main reason, at least for me, is the expanded resolution. I can live with HT no problem.

As far as I can tell, it's based on rpm and map velocity, I'm gonna have a think about this some more ...
