Default How did you set up MAP sensor (for use by UTEC AND gauge display)

Hey all,

With a UTEC on the way, plans for FI but NA tuning for now...

I was going to get the innovate LC-1 set up and display using logworks using the in-car PC/touchscreen setup in my G35 coupe.

I also want to monitor (eventually): oil pressure, fuel pressure, boost, and maybe EGT.

I'm trying to pick the right innovate kit.

1st question: Can the XD16 display different channels "on the fly" automatically and/or can LogWorks have the XD16 alternate displays, particularly if a reading hits an alarm threshold (LogWorks can do this right?).

2nd question: Can the TurboXS MAP sensor be somehow integrated with the Innovate logging functions? Or will I need to get 2 MAP sensors (one for reading by Innovate LogWorks and one for conenction to the UTEC).

Thanks!!!

Default

I think I found the answer to #1: the XD16 can be "configured" to display different channels, but at the moment this is a very manual process. Not sure if LogWorks can be configured to alter the XD16 configuration on-the-fly.

For #2, I could have try to just take the voltage out and hook it up to the innovate serial bridge (through their SSI-4 box) but not sure what effect that will have on the signal being read by the UTEC...
