get a nice intake and u wont need the extension piece.....
i had the aam reflash and it worked nice but for that much money...another $300 would get u a utec which can tune your car if ur na/f1.....then get it dyno tuned and your car will be dialed in...

Ram air duct? The earth's atmosphere is already ramming 14.7 psi of boost into engine sitting still.......................another 0.1 psi at 100 mph is pretty insignificant.

AAM's ECU flash works well - I got it a few months ago and it changed my AF's perfectly (I did before atfer dynos to see the difference...search my SN for the post).
+1 no need for both a ECU flash and Utec...AAM's ECU flash can remove the top speed limiter and move the rev limiter, but for tunning, they do the same thing.

I have the Air Duck and I am selling it, not because it was a bad mod but cause the wife just got me a Max Speed Motorsport Oil Cooler and in order for me to install the Cooler The Air Duck has to go. No other place to install. If Iterested PM me. I will let it go for 75.00 and I will pay for shiping.

Hey nismo,
I had AAM flash and tune ($595 + the $380 or so tuning cost) my ECU this past Friday. Over the baseline pull we made I picked up about 10whp and 15wtq at peak. I picked up a max of 14hp and 15tq throughout almost the entire band. Also, the A/F ratios are perfect now and are 13.0 - 13.3ish everwhere above 3000 or so RPM to the new redline. I know $980 is a lot of cash, but I seriously think this was the most worthwhile mod I have made to date. Car feels much more responsive and peppy. Exactly what it needed with all boltons (less headers) and 90k on the clock. Go for it man, but I'd definitely pay for the custom tune if I were you. I believe the custom tune almost doubled my gains. They flashed and ran different air/fuel maps on it about 3 times before getting me to my final result. Overall I'm very pleased with this mod, however I can see where a piggyback would come in handy if further mods were desired. The only mod I plan to do yet is the headers and I don't believe these would change my A/F to the point I would need another flash, so I figured why not go for it...

don't forget that custom tuning requires someone with the knowledge to tune ($$) and dyno time or a O2 sensor and street tune...when I was deciding between the 2 options (AAM flash or Utec), the break even point for buying the Utec was 3 tunes...so as long as I wasn't going to get 3 AAM flashes, it would be cheaper to stick w/ AAM. (This assumes you pay someone to tune it...if you have the time, knowledge and access to equipment, then it can be cheaper to go w/ the Utec)

**I was very happy w/ the ECU flash from AAM...good power gains, and a solid AF ratio.

I got the AAM reflash after putting on my INtake, Plenum Spacer and Exhaust. I didnt have a chance to really open it up because of new rotors at the same time. But I did notice a difference even at low RPMs.
Soon as the new clutch breaks in I'll be having some serious fun :-)
