Default UTI UTEC Logger install problems

I just purchased the UTI software for use with the UTEC. I can't seem to get it to install and run.

I followed all the instructions, copied the files into the System32 folder, etc.

Now, everytime I try to start it up, I get a "run-time error 52."

Anyone know what I did wrong?

A,

You might not have all the proper .dll's installed.. I would check with the software provider and see wtf..

I figured that problem out......it was my own install error.

Now, here;s the wierd part. everytime I try to "connect" to the UTEC, I get a "run-time error 13." This only happens if the engine is running. If I have the engine off, I can connect perfectly, and the UTI picks up on everything.

any ideas???

I figured out this problem, too......I had the UTI software setup as using "speed density" as that is how my UTEC is setup when it takes over, but the UTI needs to be set to "MAF". As soon as I did that, all has been working.

Today, I went for a quick run, and all I can say is this looks like a great tool! even if it does nothing else, I love how it auto creates logs and saves then....no more having to type in file names!!!

The logger is the best feature of it. The autotune works to an extent. It worked perfect of my friends wrx but it didnt work so well for small adjustments on the Z.

UTI is the best tool out there for the UTEC, the autotune was so damn close to what i wanted, for all begginers like me :P i would highly recommend it, because first time when you try to tune the UTEC u really have no idea how much you can take or add on the fuel map, the autotune will let u get started.
