350Z is not enough torque for you for a 30k sports car?

Maybe you should try driving a S2000 and report back to us.

Glad you got your MAP sensor and Wide Band installed. I think I may not be far behind if it works better than the MAF tune...

We found out that the problem is that the settings haven't been altered. In 2wd mode the dyno is just as delivered. It has only been calibrated in 4wd mode. In 2wd mode, 4th gear in the Z seems to be close to accurate. I did 263 on Doug's in 4th and 251 on the Dynojet, but as you can see on the Dynojet graph, my top end had gone away since tuning on Doug's dyno (damn MAF sensor). Right now, Doug's corrected numbers are probably about 5whp higher than a Dynojet in 4th in 2wd mode. The problem seems to be in the correction factor because his uncorrected numbers are about the same as the Dynojet.

EDIT: Typo.

I am glad i saw this post. I am new here and i dont know you but a way to come out and correct the mistake bro. Respect.

I just tuned my car yesterday and got some really good numbers as well. It was a Dynapack at Dynocomp in Arizona. They have a good dyno, no BS numbers or none of that. I put down 282.7whp on their Dyno. 91 Octane and it was 97 degrees here in AZ (man i hate Arizona)
Anyways, I still need something to add timing because i only have the Apex'I SAFC-II which only does fuel.

I dont want to buy the Utec, anything else i can use to add timing??
I bought a split second second box cause i am an idiot then found out that it only pulls timing. Need some help here fellas

I believe you can advance or retard timing up to 2 degrees on the stock ECU with a Consult II or Cipher. But I really would recommend a UTEC for tuning...

282.7whp...what year is your car? DynoPaks tend to read higher than a DJ, and MUCH higher than the DD.

I have an 06 with alot of mods and trial and error things. It took me a long time to get these numbers.
The dyno at Dynocomp reads lower than most. They told me that my car would over 300whp at any other dyno but honestly i dont care. Like you guys said its about time. I also like their dyno cause i heard its the best for tuning. I might go to another dyno soon just see the readings but i am sure it will read higher. Here are the mods list:

Injen CAI SP1986 w/streamiline filter
UR Pulley set
Long tube headers
Stillen test pipes
Custom Single exhaust
Kinetix SSV intake manifold
Throttle body spacer
380 Injectors
Apex'I SAFC-II

I know you guys are going to say that the SSV is losing power. Well that is not correct. My friend has the same year Z we have the same mods. He had the APS plenum then the Kinetix plenum. Still didnt make as much power. Then he put on the SSV and gained alot more top end. We have tested the SSV on the 03-05 and they really do lose power but not on the Rev-up. thats dyno proven.

Anyways, I will go to another dyno this weekend and will let you guys know what happened as far as numbers go.

Update?

I'd like to see Dynojet numbers. You're mods are similar to mine. I don't see how your's could be making 50 more HP (251 vs. your claim of over 300) than mine.

I put $20 on the fact that you wont hit 282whp on a DJ-your shop is blowing smoke up your a$$...

And yes, post Dynojet #'s with an SAE or STD correction.
