Got my '06 tuned
Long tube headers
Stillen test pipes
380 INJECTORS
How do you have long tube headers and test pipes? How is this possible?
Why 380 injectors on a NA car? Your car can't utilize them without engine management and those are still to large and would need to be scaled down.
Something doesn't sound right..

There are only two long tube header companies for the Z. One no longer makes them and the other you can't get in the US.
I wondering if he uses all 4 of his 02 sensor holes as well

BTW what AFR did you tune for?

Bump again...
Going from 290cc (stock) injectors to 380cc... NA... No UTEC, F-Con, E-Manage, Etc? Interesting. You must be running *quite* rich on your AFR's... Do you foul many plugs? Lol!
Some pics of those longtube headers mated to the TPs would be nice too... :-)

Wow, alot of progress since the last time i posted. I do have a throttle body spacer, I have borla headers and i was told they are long tube headers(maybe they are not), and I have an Apex'I SAFC-II tuned by Dynocomp By Richard the owner if anyone here knows him. And about the Dyno you guys will see it i promise. Now if you guys are gonna keep talkin smack just go for it. I know how you guys always pick on the NOOBS. I honestly dont care. If you dont watch the weather channel you should try it sometime. Its been 115 degrees in AZ for the last week. I am not blowin up my motor to amuse you. And injectors are for the 100 shot and Utec goin in pretty soon.

LMAO-Doug cracks me up
ZULATER06-so NA engine blow up in 115 degree heat? Answer is NO, and if you were running N20 you should know it would considerably cool your intake charge. You have no excuse go to a Dynojet and post SAE Corrected #'s...

Just a little update...
Road tuned the car last night in Speed-Density. WOW, much better. Car pulls harder and accelerates much smoother. There's no longer a feeling of building power, it's just smooth all the way through. This is mostly due to the timing changes. We added about 6 degrees of timing. I have one map saved with just the fuel changes and one with fuel and timing. The one with both is the smoother one.
Only problem is that the transition from MAF to MAP control (I have it set at 3000 rpm and -2.5 psi) is a bit wonky. Problem is that the UTEC was never intended to run an NA car in SD mode. The only load cell column that's usable is the 10% column. It's be great if the UTEC had a 5% column as well. Also, the car loads up when the throttle is slammed shut. I'm guessing that the ECU is not holding the throttle body open a crack to burn off the extra fuel in the runners when the UTEC is controlling the fueling. This does have a bit of a benefit though... Shifts (both up and down) are much smoother now that I can control the TB. It's almost like having a cable operated TB.
I'm slapping on some 1" shorter than stock drag-radials and hitting the track Wed night. I'll post up the times. Next thing to do is install my S-7 cams and retune. I'll get dyno numbers after the cam install.
