i was trying to figure out the difference between these two. i know one comes with everything u need to stand alone im guessing. im sorry for such a noob question.

i know the second one is just the guage but why do u need all the other things? and what about this guage is it as good. im only using this for my nitrous kit.

Its a standalone unit you need everything if you want to run it alone and not hooked up to a ECU. I have this one and it works great. I would go with the whole xd-16/ LM-1 package comes with everything.

but if im having it tuned at a shop do i need all of that?

Well what do you want? Even though I don't always tune all my shi* I still like having a standalone widband to keep an eye on things.

the hard wiring to reprogram the XD16 bites! Otherwise it's a nice design.

no i think i wasnt being clear sorry. i know i need the guage to keep a eye on things but why would i need to be able to tune it without the plugging it into the ecu is it just because its easier?

pricella,

Does the LC-1 allow me to change the a/f on the laptop myself. I'm really not understanding how and a/f gauge allows you to do that ? I've looked at their web-site and looked at all thats included with that gauge and I still don't understand how it will allow you to tune the a/f ?
