I have an 06 revup 350z with the following mods on it right now: K & N drop in, Top speed exhaust, AAM y pipe, Kinetix test pipes, Mrev2, 5/16" spacer, and AAM's reflash. I was at the AAM get together over the weekend and put it on the dyno to see what it would make. I put down 259whp and 239tq. Not real bad for my car I guess, I never did a baseline so Im not sure how much I realy gained over stock. So my heres my question and dilema right now. Looking at the a/f chart then after the dyno me and the tech saw that my a/f went to above 18 yes I said above 18 from 2000-3000 rpms. At that same point my hp and tq seem to deep a lot and then climb again after that. My a/f never even went down to 12's. The lowest it went was is about 13. Now could that sudden huge lean condition be from the car suddenly going WOT and their not being enough fuel yet or the actual software? Please help, thanks

Did you see any other people's afr logs? I haven't been there in a while (and won't be back), but I know I had a pretty alarming afr from them too. I logged my oem widebands with Autoenginuity on my way home from the shop though and saw numbers that were fine. The afr on thier dyno last year was just simply off, by a long shot.
FWIW, my utec w/b lines up pretty good with the oem set so I doubt they were off.

AFR of 18?
That doesnt sound right at all. Could have been something else, but I highly doubt you have an AFR of 18, especially with an AAM reflash.
13 sounds about right at high RPM's for NA.
Either way, I would contact AAM to see what the problem might be.

From everyone that Ive talked to they said its possible that is could simply be htat the a/f on the dyno is off. I just dont know right now what I should do, I live 3 hrs away from AAM and there is no local dyno near here so Im kinda stuck at figuring out what to do.

So you were AT AAM? And they do their own tunes.
Get a dyno tune, and ask all kinds of questions about your flash, like "why is this so rich/lean when you knew the mods I had to go with the flash?"
And buy a self-help book, and an English guide. Paragraphs, please!

Can you post the dynos? I would be interested to see the a/f curve.
Also, where was the a/f sensor installed? In the tail pipe or before the cats? This will have an effect on the reading.

The sensor was installed on the tailpipe. I do have the dyno chart but no scanner here so Im gonna have to try and find a buddy that has one to post it up. I have a fax tho haha if anyone wants to see it. I know for a fact that there is no air leak after the maf. So it still stands that I dont know what the lean condition is for but Im hoping it was simply the sensor. HOwever, MRC....you guys have any deals on Utecs right now? ha

MRC that is a good deal. I should be able to do that sometime in July, will that price still stand for then? As for the dyno charts, like I said I dont have a scanner so Im still trying to see if anyone I know has one, if not I might just try and take a picture of it and upload that.
