Has anyone had their radiator fans come on during the reflash process? Good thing I had a battery charger/starter hooked up cause they started sucking down the juice... The flash went through just fine, but I'd be scared to run this without being hooked up to AC power...

I did. I just did my Flash last night. It kind of freaked me out.

That's intentionally triggered to stabilize voltage while flashing. No worries. I have flashed with voltage as low as 11,74V and I recall there is a security feature to not let you start the flash process below a certain battery voltage.

So far I have not really have not got to drive it. From the little bit I did last night, it feels sluggish. I am sure that's where the data logging comes in. This way they UPREV can Zero in on the correct values for my Z.
You or at least I can tell what I feel to be the Optimized Throttle Control.

My Maps look like this:

Idel: Stock
Map 1: Economy: Stock + Optimized Throttle Control Map, Air/Fuel Tuning
Map 2: Valet: 3200 rpm limit, 30 mph
Map 3: Sport: 93 octane tune, 7400 rpm, No Speed Limiter, Optimized Throttle Control Map, Air/Fuel Tuning.

Now UPREV Added these two:

Map 4: Economy mode (13.25 AFR targets, 4400RPM rev limit)
Map 5: Stock

Over all I am real excited to see how it all turns out after my First e-tune. I am going to be logging these Parameters. This something i found on this post:
A/F CORR-B1 (%)
A/F CORR-B2 (%)
AFR WB-B1 (AFR)
AFR WB-B2 (AFR)
A/F WB-B1 (V)
A/F WB-B2 (V)
ACCEL PED POS 1 (V-Accel)
B-FUEL SCHDL (ms)
CAL/LD VALUE (%)
COOLANT TEMP (F)
ENGINE RPM (rpm)
IGN TIMING (BTDC)
INJ PULSE-B1 (ms)
INJ PULSE-B2 (ms)
INTAKE AIR TMP (F)
MAF GM/S (gm/s)
MAS A/F -B1 (V)
THROTTLE POS 1 (V-Throttle)
VEHICLE SPEED (mph)

Now according the the FAQ at www.uprev.com all you need to log is:
What parameters should be logged for AFR eTuning?
AFR Bank 1 and Bank 2 (See Cipher user guide)
Accelerator position (either one)
Base fuel schedule
Calculated load
Coolant temp
Engine speed (RPM)
Ignition timing advance
Throttle position (either one)

I will see how it goes.

Chad

Do you have a link to where this is explained?

That's not a good idea, if it's intentional. My fans draw a LOT more current than the stock fans. I don't understand why the voltage would need to be brought down...

On another note, it seems that the max idle rpm is 850, even though I asked for 1000. I then asked for 800, and it was 800. Sorry if this has been answered before but this is one long thread!

I love my beta version, but haven't played with it lately since the Z is in the garage for the winter.

Wouldn't it of made sense to have beta testers that drove there Z all year round? We all wait an extra 6 months cause the beta cars are parked for winter or what?

^I got to agree, what's the point of having beta testers that aren't "testing"?

There are very few beta users, besides some tuning shops. I think im one of like 10 or less. I drive my car all year even long distance. Once I replace my O2 sensor and find a new laptop i need to retune my car because of new headers and exhaust.
