so i got a question...my friend lives in austin and he and i are thinkin about getting this tune. i would drive down from dallas to meet him up and we'd go together. how much would it be to do this? can you guys hook us up with a good deal? my other friend with an hr was informed that it would be $400 if i were to go down there and get it done instead of 700 to ship it here? any validity to that? thanks

Valid yes, $400 for the flash, but then there is dyno tune fees. $175/hr generally takes 2 hours, for a total of $750. Unless they just want a basic flash with not custom tune obviously.

$700 is Osiris Standard and comes with Cipher.

Kinda flexible we can do whatever suits you best. Though at this point we do not support the HR motors. Will be a few weeks before we start rolling that out.

Why do you care about thread length?

Sorry, you don’t meet the longest no bashing thread either

I think you were only one post away

I just want to say that UpRev's involvement in this forum is great. I've gotten more questions answered this way(and faster) than any other vendor.

Don't get burnt out and dissapear!

I was just kidding with that post bro... I had to throw a bash in there just because you were going for the longest no bash thread...

Anyway - thanks for the great work! I'm looking forward to a re-tune from Shawn Church when my new cams are installed!!!

A number of systems actually. We even have a Beta Tester there. We're really looking forward to a shop in that region of the world to become a distributor if you know of any, have them contact us.

Flash is a product and is taxable. Dyno time however is considered Labor and is not taxable. We generally like to make appointments a week or so in advance, we're open on sat/sun by appointment only.

Damn, was hoping flash was considered a service, instead of a "product".

oh well, can't win em all.

Alrighty, there's a good chance you may get 2 midland Z's in the not too distant future. We'll call and such to get it all setup. I'm convincing the other guy it'll help his car.

We estimate 2 hours on most NA 350z/G35/Titan because we have so much prior experience with them. Unless the car has some issue on the dyno it rarely goes over that. We charge $175/hr for dyno tuning.

You can purchase just Osiris Flash Service for $400 if you're going to be getting a tune, or if you want Cipher to keep an eye on things that can be purchased with Osiris Standard for $700.

So between $750 and $1050 for a full tune, plus tax.

Yeah, Jared uses his personal account on here. We have a google map on our website now, we're down at the end of the row of our building, so we're not easy to see from the street.

I am interested in this, however we have different ratings on our fuel.

i.e. we have and i use 98 octane, so would you be able to tune for this?
