Since we opened. Where does it say we don't support it? I'd really like to know because people keep asking that question.

This is why I would never make it in Customer Service. I'd be the first person to yell you to jump off a cliff.

Did you read anything?

The 03 is supported but it does not have factory wideband. You need aftermarket to datalog AF/R. Wow.

Below copied directly from your webpage. If Osiris already supports the 2003 then great, thanks. However, for someone who is new, and reads your website to get information on your product, it sure LOOKS like it doesn't support 2003 or 2004 model years. If you mean "built in auto recovery only works for 2004.5-2006" cars, then the paragraph makes sense, but the way it's written, it looks like the whole release 1.1 won't work on 2003 or 2004 model years. I have looked through the website and read the FAQ, etc,, and I have not found a list of supported vehicles. I've only found exclusions, IE:

Can Cipher datalog AFR on my 2003-2004 350z or G35?
No. 2003 and early 2004 350Z/G35s do not come equipped w/ factory wide band sensors. To log AFR, you will need to install additional such as an Innovate LC-1+ with RPM pickup.
How many maps can my ECU hold?
There is space for 5 maps on all supported ECU’s except for the 2004 Titan. The 2004 Titan only allows for 3 maps.

Osiris ROM Loader v1.1 09.20.07
This update addresses the inability for in-vehicle recovery of a failed ECU flash. Our goal was to reduce the opportunities for a failure to occur in addition to creating a failsafe that allows for in-vehicle recovery if a fault occurs during reflash.

v1.1 Features:
More Robust Flash Routine - The data is now handled differently so that a communication issue with the ECU is less likely. Error checks are in the routine to ensure accuracy.
Faster Flash - By increasing the flash speed by 500%, we reduced the timeframe that a failure can occur. A full flash takes under 1 minute, vs. the previous 3-8 min, and the ECU is vulnerable to an unrecoverable period for only .1 second.
Built In Auto Recovery - If the reflash is interrupted, v1.1 is able to restart the flash and complete the routine on the spot with no additional support. You can now pull the USB cable, shut off the laptop, or pull the car's battery, and the software will right itself when you correct the condition.
v1.1 features are currently available for the 2004.5 - 2006 350z/G35 and 2005-2007 Titan. We are working to add support for 2003-2004 350Z/G35 and 2004 Titan as soon as we can.

All users should update to v1.1 at this time, the software will recognize which vehicle you have and run the appropriate routine.

Please show me where it says that on the website. I never found it. Thanks.

I'll go through and re-write those sections then and add something saying 03-04 cars are supported but require additional parts. I guess I never read it that way before.

edit: also once our new webstore is up it will allow you to select only vehicles that are supported, so it should be a bit clearer.

No we've known the guys at BoostLogic, Elite Motorsports, and Performance Motorsports for a long time, and they just got one. So we had to go poke around a little. It'll be fun once we get to it though, it's similar enough to the rest of the Nissan products. It's a bad *** looking car in person though.

Hah, yeah busy doesn't even come close to describing it. I moved into an apartment about a month ago, and I might have spent a total of 200 hours in it so far including sleep/shower/weekends, otherwise I've been at the shop or doing shop things. A vacation cannot come soon enough.

Those are the old shirts. We're going to have some new shirts sometime soon. I need to find a graphic artist to make some interesting designs though. I want something we can wear around the shop and look decent enough for going to eat in after work as long as we're not covered in grease.

Plus we need some girl shirts too, and I'm pretty certain it's not going to be typical car show hoochie shirts either like everyone seems to want to try and sell.

no. But consider that a good thing because I think the VRT drama threads are probably the leaders in that category - and you don’t want to put yourselves in that league

The Orlando Z Owners thread started in 2004 when a couple of guys were thinking about starting a club... Now that thread is closing in on 12,000 posts...

This thread has a ways to go...
